1. Assigned Time Registration for fall 2023 is from March 27, 2023 to April 7, 2023.
2. Open Registration is from April 10, 2023 to August 20, 2023. Registration is for Degree-seeking graduate and undergraduate students and Non-degree-seeking graduate students.
3. Open Registration for Non-degree-seeking undergraduate students is from July 31, 2023 to August 20, 2023.
4. UAB Move-in day fall 2023 is from August 16, 2023, to August 20, 2023. Check out:UAB Blazernet.
5. Fall 2023 payment deadline is August 21, 2023. 100% balance is due for Traditional Payment; 1st Payment Deadline for Blazer Flex Plan. Failure to pay the first installment of the Blazer Flex Plan will result in the $50 late feeassessment.
6. UAB Fall 2023 classes start on August 21, 2023. It is the first day of classes for The University of Alabama at Birmingham students in fall 2023.
7. Registration after classes begins on August 21, 2023 to August 28, 2023.
8. The last day to Drop/Add (Without paying full Tuition & Fees) is August 28, 2023.
9. August 28, 2023 is the last day to Submit Undergraduate Application for Degree.

14. The last day for full-term withdrawal 25% refund is October 3, 2023 (Must withdraw from all courses).
15. October 13, 2023 is the last day to Withdraw from a course with a grade of “W”.

17. UAB Fall 2023 Thanksgiving Break is from November 20, 2023 to November 26, 2023. The University of Alabama at Birmingham Thanksgiving break 2023 is one week long.

2. Open Registration for degree-seeking graduate and undergraduate students, as well as non-degree-seeking graduate students, occurs from November 20, 2023, to January 7, 2024.
3. Open Registration for non-degree-seeking undergraduate students is from December 11, 2023, to January 7, 2024.
4. The payment deadline for 100% balance due for Traditional Payment and the 1st Payment Deadline for the Blazer Flex Plan is January 8, 2024. Failure to pay the first installment of the Blazer Flex Plan will result in theassessmentof a $50 late fee.
5. UAB Spring 2024 Classes start on January 8, 2024.
6. Registration After Classes Begin is from January 8 to January 16, 2024.
7. Martin Luther King Holiday is observed on January 15, 2024.
8. The last day to Drop/Add without paying full Tuition and fees is January 16, 2024.
9. January 16, 2024, is also the last day to submit Graduate and undergraduate Applications for Degrees.
10. The last day for full-term withdrawal with a 75% refund (must withdraw from all courses) is January 22, 2024.
11. The 2nd Payment Deadline for the Blazer Flex Plan is February 12, 2024. Failure to meet this payment deadline results in theassessmentof a $50 late fee.
12. The last day for full-term withdrawal with a 50% refund (must withdraw from all courses) is February 2, 2024.
13. The last day for full-term withdrawal with a 25% refund (must withdraw from all courses) is February 16, 2024.
14. The final Payment Deadline for the Blazer Flex Plan is March 18, 2024. Failure to meet this payment deadline results in theassessmentof a $50 late fee. Housing Fee-Blazer FlexPlan is $100 for students living in residence halls.
15. UAB Spring Break 2024 is from Sunday, March 10 to Saturday, March 16, 2024. Classes resume on Monday, March 18, 2024, after the University of Alabama at Birmingham Spring Break.
16. The last day to withdraw from a course with a Grade of “W” is March 22, 2024.
17. The last day to withdraw for the term (must withdraw from all courses) is April 19, 2024.
18. April 19, 2024, is also the last day of classes.
19. Undergraduate Reading Days take place from April 20 to 21, 2024.
20. Spring 2024 Final Exams are scheduled from April 22 to April 26, 2024.
21. UAB graduation 2024 and Commencement for Graduate Students is April 26, 2024. Commencement for Undergraduate Students is on April 27, 2024.
22. Grades are due by midnight on April 29, 2024, and are available online on May 1, 2024.
