13 1. DAILY INTER LAKE AUGUST 23, SUNDAY 2015. A7 OBITUARIES Calvin Henry "Heaven's gate opened wide and let an amazing man in." Calvin Henry Gamma, Vi of Kalispell, passed away unexpectedly Aug. 6, 2015. He had many names: Calvin or Henry, Dad, Grandpa, Great-grandpa, friend, but in recent years he was known as Gramps by many.

He was born at Ashley Lake on July 5, 1927, to Anton and Bessie (Arnold) Gamma. He was the youngest of four children, brothers Frank "Pete," Ben and sister Mary. Most of his young. er years were spent at home ranching and working in the woods. He only.

attended school through the eighth grade. He served in the U.S. Army for one year, as back in those days all hands were needed at home to help ends meet. So back I home he came. He met Thelma Lorenson Madsen in 1951 through her cousins, who he was working for.

They married on July 12, 1952, and he gained an instant family, Gerald and Joyce Madsen, and to this uhion two other children were added: Roland in 1953 and Roleen in 1954. They divorced in 1972 but remained very good friends. He married Anita Hansoni in 1978 and to this union Melissa was added to the family. They also divorced and he lived a single life for the rest of his days. After returning from the Army, he was a selfemployed logger and ran his own sawmill.

In 1966, he went to work for For. est Products. He moved to Missoula for one year and hauled cement blocks for R-Lite Co. On returning to the Flathead, he was fortunate enough to get on the city or and retired after 26 years. Retirement was not 1 4 Gamma, 88 for him, So for the next eight years he he worked for Black Mag-: ic, finally retiring for good at age 75.

He loved to fish (especially Ashley Lake), bowl, anything outside and was ready for a road trip any time. Other than one year in Missoula he spent his whole life here in the Flathead. Calvin is survived by his children, Gerald and Sherry Madsen, Joyce and Mead Stokes, Roland and Ella Gamma, Roleen and Carl Anderson and Melissa Gamma; grandchildren, Rex and Donna Stokes, Donny "Dev" Stokes, Rae Dean Barker, Geremy Madsen, Jeanice and Jack Myrtue, Krisha and Joe Dull, Lisa and Jason Schreckendgust, Bruce Gamma, Brice and Alison Gamma, Janine and Justin Mordja and Niel Gamma; 15 greatgrandchildren; his sister, Mary Hovensland; numer. ous nieces and nephews, He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Frank "Pete" and Ben; and grandchildren Diorah Stokes and Jason Madsen. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be 1 p.m.

on Aug. 29 in the basem*nt of the Eagles Club, 37 W. First Kalispell. A potluck will follow. In honor of gramps, please wear something with a John Deere on it or green or yellow, as he was a collector of John Deere paraphernalia.

Until we meet again, Gramps, to the world you were one person, to your family you were the world. We love you and miss you. Starling Lee Lindsey, 82 S. "Lee" Lindsey was born Feb. 29, 1932, and raised in Somers.

Lee served in the Navy and worked for Petrolane Gas where he was promoted to vice president of for. eign affairs. Lee traveled most of the world and later formed his own oil and gas consultation company, with his wife, Mary Allene Johnson. Though he moved away from Sowers, Lee regularly sought to enjoy his Montana lifestyle of hunting, fishing, horseback riding. and hiking.

TOn July 25, 2014, he passed away peacefully in Houston. Lee many friends and was always a wise, lov. ing, gentle guiding force for his family. He is profoundly missed and dearly loved. On Aug.

3, 2014, nine days later, his youngest son, Montgomery Dean Lindsey, suddenly passed away and his eldest son, Starling Marc Lindsey passed away May 31, David Adam David Adam Roberts, of Londonderry, New Hampshire, and of Kalispell, died unexpectedly Aug. 9, 2015, at Houston Methodist Hospital in Houston after a brief illness. Adam was born May 20, 1978, in New London, Connecticut, one of seven brothers, and attended schools in Marshfield, Massachusetts, and Londonderry before moving with his family to Kalispell in 1997. He also attended St. Lawrence University and the University of Montana before heading out into the working world.

Most recently, he worked for Cameron Oil based in Houston. Adam is survived, and will be missed dearly, by his parents, David and Kathy Roberts, of Kalispell; his older brother, Eric, and his wife, Ann, of Goffstown, New Katherine Gregory Averill, 63 Katherine Gregory Averill, 63, died Sunday, Aug. 9, at Kalispell Regional Medical center of complications from lung cancer. She was the beloved wife of Dalvin Averill, of Columbia Falls. She was the dearest mother.

of Sunshine Esper, of Kalispell, Kari and Jamey Green and Michael and Stephanie Baker, all of Columbia Falls, and Dalvin of Truckee, California, She is also survived by her precious grandchildren, Cameron, Sarah, Elizabeth, Nicole, Hailey, Wyatt, Karly, and Kiaunna. Also surviving is her devoted mother, Marilyn Schorer (the late Dr. Calvin Schorer), and i her loving siblings Elizabeth and George Pamerleau, of Wisconsin, Martha and Brian Ingalls, A of Florida, Mary and Robert Rice, of Florida, Helen and Steve Parke, of Virginia, and ret and Howard Long, of Michigan. Many nieces and nephews and a host of friends also mourn Kathy's death. Kathy was born Christmas Eve, 1951, in Wyandotte, Michigan, and grew up in Grosse Pointe, Michigan where she attended the public schools and was active in music and many sports programs, and in Christ Church Grosse Pointe youth programs.

In 1975 she moved to Columbia Falls where she reared her four wonderful chil- dren. She was an avid sportswoman and softball play. er and she enthusiastically supported the many activities of her children and grandchildren. Kathy had the gift of friendship and throughout her life cultivated many beloved friends whom she considered part of her family. Since her retirement, she 'and her husband have A enjoyed traveling and have lived part of every year in southern California and Arizona.

A memorial service for Kathy will be held at 6. p.m. on Friday, Aug, 28 the Fellowship Alliance Church at 1025 Seventh Ave. W. in Columbia Falls.

A potluck celebration of her life will follow at the Eagle's Club at 1640 Ninth St. W. in Columbia Falls. Please see her Facebook page for the event and sign up for potluck dish. Donald Everett Bosshardt, 80 Donald Everett Bosshardt M.D., 80, beloved husband, father, papa, brother and doctor, "has gone to be with God." He died Aug.

13, 2015, after: a long and hard fought battle with leukemia. He was a gentle and giving Christian man and a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Polson, and Peace Lutheran Church in Las Cruces, New Mexico, He touched many lives personally and professionally and will be 4 greatly missed. Donald was born in Ogden, Utah, in 1934 and grew up in Ontario, California. As a toenager, he spent summers at the family cabin on Flathead Lake and fell in love with Montana. He met Mary Lou in San Francisco while attending medical school and, upon completion of training as a general practitioner, they moved to Montana.

He served patients in Glendive, Choteau, Great Falls, Whitefish and Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. was a compassionate and respected physician and after retirement spent winters in Las Cruces, serving at a clinic for the underserved. Besides his passion for family and medicine, he loved the outdoors and fishing. He was proud to have introduced fishing to his seven grandchildren and they caught their first fish with him. Donald is survived by his wife of 56 years, Mary Lou; son James and Car.
