Somewhere The Tides Will All Come Together - Chapter 1 - Anonymous (2024)

Chapter Text

A child.

Law was pregnant with a child.

It didn’t quite register in his head at first. The omega only continued to stare at the stick with two lines, a positive pregnancy test. You could never tell off the first test, it could always be a mistake with the product. That’s what he deluded himself into thinking, wanting to deny the truth a little longer. That’s why he took a second test and then a third test because third time’s the charm and maybe this was all just a horrible joke his damn body was playing.

Law snapped the fourth one in half, nothing even bothering to look at the results because what was the point? He had known he was pregnant even without the tests. There had been too many signs, too many symptoms, that he couldn’t ignore of the beginning stages. He has read more than enough books, heard all the wives tales, and has witnessed and helped other pregnant omegas and betas before to recognize his..predicament.

The omega captain leaned back against the sink of the submarine bathroom, taking in deep breaths to calm himself before the last threads of his sanity could snap.

One..two..one..two..one..bang!bang!

“Oi, Captain! Are you okay?”

There was banging on the door and the muffled voice of Penguin came from the other side. Law deeply inhaled through his nose and pinched the bridge of his nose, mentally cursing the Gods for giving him such a caring crew. The other omega on board has been worried about him, always checking up on him and making sure Law was taking care of himself. There was no way Penguin could know Law was pregnant, but perhaps his omegan instincts sensed something that he yet couldn’t. Law’s read about it before, something called pack harmonization. It was all a theory though, not enough proof or studies done. It was the only thing that bought Law a sense of comfort. He didn’t need his crew to know about this..not yet.

“Captain!”

Penguin’s voice came again, the metal door not hiding his concerned tone this time around, so Law forced himself to his feet. He quickly wrapped the pregnancy tests in some tissue to later dispose of far, far away from his crew before opening the door as casually as he could. He was met with a concerned frown and the souring scent of a worried omega. “Yes?” Law managed to keep a steady voice. His own scent betrayed nothing, something that irritated his crew greatly.

Penguin said nothing at first, staring at Law as if he could see through his practiced calm demeanor. Law stared back, raising a brow at the man as if daring to challenge him to speak his mind. Finally, the other just shook his head and offered his captain a sheepish smile,” Nothing! It’s just..you were in the bathroom for awhile and we thought you might have been sick or something.”

Sick.

The omega captain hesitates to respond, his jaw clenching as he works out the right words to say. He finally settles on,” something like that. But I’m alright. Tell the others not to worry about me.”

Penguin and him share a quick, exasperated look, knowing Bepo is near tears right now. The other omega takes that as his dismissal and gives Law a nod,” Aye, Captain!”. He starts to walk away but stops after a few steps. He slowly turns back to look at Law one last time

“Uhm..Law?”

“Hm?”

“You can talk to us, okay? You..You’re not alone. I know we don’t seem the most dependable sometimes but we’re your crew, yourfriends,” Penguins puts emphasis in on the last word as if to get it through his head,” so please trust us to help with whatever is burdening you.”

His words sound practiced. Not in a bad way like Penguin is just saying sh*t to say it. But as if he, and most likely all his crew, wanted to say the right thing and get the message clear across. After all, Law hated when people were not direct about their words and chose to speak in silly riddles instead. He didn’t have the patience to solve them. And while he appreciated Penguin’s directness, it did awful things to his heart. He didn’t know how to handlethesetypes of feelings.

Law wasn’t soft or gentle. He wasn’t kind. He didn’t know how to handle loving or being loved, not when everytime that love was torn away him. That’s why he put a wall, perhaps one too thin and flimsy, up between him and his..friends.

He doesn’t know what to say to Penguin. The man’s eyes are just too damnwarm and hopeful. He has to look away. It makes him want to shrink.

“..Thanks.” Is all he could muster without his voice breaking.

Law doesn’t wait for Penguin to speak again. He doesn’t want to see the disappointed look on his face or smell his saddened scent.

“Thank you,” Law thinks as he hurriedly walks away,” but this isn’t something I can talk about yet. Not until I decide what I want to do with it.”

-

Law curses that stupid alpha.

That stupid, stupid alpha.

Stupid omega, his mind curses back at him.

It takes two to dance.

They did a lot more than just that.

Law buries his face in his heads as his mind betrays him, providing him shameful flashbacks of that night. The alpha’s large hand that gripped onto his waist, holding the omega in place as he sunk indeep. He hadn’t even knotted Law yet the stretch of his thick co*ck tricked the omega’s body into thinking he did, making Law’s c*nt involuntarily clench and clamp down. Each thrust after that had hurt so bad yetso good. The alpha’s low, soothing voice that dripped honey coated praises and groans into his ear, gently coaxing the captain is relax and just take it.

“That’s it, baby. Being so good for me, my good omega.”

If Law hadn’t being delirious with heat, he would have smacked the alpha across the head for daring to call him that.

Law didn’t belong to anyone.

But Gods, it did things to his heat drunk mind.

And of course he had been so desperate to be a good omega.

The omega’s face burns in shame as he remembers chanting the alpha’s name like a mantra, desperately begging him to bred him like proper bitch.

-

“Knot me! P-Please..want your knot! Want you to knock me up!” Law sobbed, his handscurledweakly onto the alpha’s shoulders with blunt nails digging red crescents into tan skin.

The man growled at his pleas, his hand on Law’s hip tightened its grip, forcing the omega to stop bouncing on his co*ck into slow grinding instead. It wasn’t enough to make him cum and the bastard knew it. “You want my baby?” He cooed, dirty amusem*nt in his red eyes like he enjoyed watching the omega captain act like some common whor*.

The alpha pressed heated kisses to Law’s neck, carefully nibbling at his scent gland. Law whined, rolling his head to the side to let the man leave love bites. His tattooed hands let go of the man’s shoulders and trailed up to his head, tangling his fingers into fiery hair. He tugged the man’s hair back, forcing him to left his head, and smashed their mouths into a sloppy kiss. It hurt, their teeth clacking together with noses bumping against each other’s. Law could taste the tang of blood in his mouth but he wasn’t sure whose.

The alpha pulled away with a groan. He made a show of running his tongue over his teeth to lick away any blood, baring his sharp fangs. The man grinned, feral and lost in his own rut. The look in his eyes darkened.

“I’ll give you a baby, my pretty omega.”

-

Law rests a hand on his clothed stomach.

Stupid alpha.

“What am I going to do with you?” He mumbles, staring down at his body. A heavy thought crosses his mind and the omega rubs his stomach as if to ease his unborn child.

”What will your sire do with us?”
