Last night, around 1:00am, we received 5 notifications from the National Visa Centers (NVC) scheduling immigrant interviews at the U.S. consulate in Rio de Janeiro for July/2024 for 5 of our clients. All 5 clients under the EB1-A Extraordinary Abilities classification. NVC, thanks for waking me up at night ❤️

Ontem, um cliente amigo do nosso escritório veio de Orlando para pessoalmente buscar os green cards dele e da familia que ganharam através do EB2-NIW. Depois de 8 anos nos EUA conseguimos encontrar uma solução para o caso deles. Acabou sendo uma troca de presentes pois ganhei esse quadro especial. Quem leu meu livro sabe o que essa frase significa pra mim ❤️🙏

✅O1-A visa approved! •The Petitioner: a Fortune 100 company •The Beneficiary: an international lawyer with LLM already working for the petitioner as in-house counsel under F-1 OPT status , which is set to expire next month. The beneficiary was not selected in the H1B lottery and L1 was not a possibility. They reached out to us asking for a solution different from what their contracted big law firm proposed. We suggested O1 be done ASAP , the beneficiary’s quality of evidence at that point made it a difficult case. But it was either that or the beneficiary would not be able to continue working for the company as of the beginning of next month and would be forced to leave the U.S., change status to B2, or enroll in school again. The case was filed on April 26, 2024 and approved on May 9, 2024. The beneficiary will now be able to work for at least 3 more years for the sponsor and paved the way for a future green card . We are glad that we were able to save the day one more time !
