The staff and faculty at John Carroll are simply amazing. I found real advocates in them, and I am not sure if my experience would have been as successful without them. I also loved many of the courses I took. They have a decent variety with unique topics, for the humanities at least. I’m not as familiar with their STEM courses. Going to John Carroll, I had some great academic opportunities like internships, studying abroad etc. They also have many opportunities to get involved on campus and the community through clubs and service opportunities.

John Carroll is a great school with a lot of opportunities for their students. It is important to talk to students in your program before committing to make sure that the overall style of learning and department will be a good fit for you. There are a lot of STEM and business students.
The campus life and social scene is good overall, and most likely you will be able to find a student organization that will fit one of your interests.
Something that the school is actively working on is appealing to students from other parts of the country because most students come from Ohio, Pennsylvania, or New York.

John Carroll is kind of like a roller coaster, a great time, but at a massive cost. The biggest problem with the university is the food options, or lack thereof. The only decent place on or around campus is a Ben & Jerry's, which isn't exactly a good meal option. For the $50,000 tuition, you'd think they could put a Raisin' Canes or something. Beyond that, everything is great here. The community is fun, the professors are caring, and it's a great time.
