Best Seats For a Concert at Chase Center

The most common seating layout at Chase Center for concerts is an end-stage setup with the stage located near sections Section 119, Section 124 and Section 201. For many concerts there are also slight variations to the layout, which may include General Admission seats, fan pits and B-stages.

Chase Center Seating - RateYourSeats.com (2)

On the Floor: Sections Floor 1, Floor 2, Floor 3 and Floor 4 are Floor Seats, which offer some of the closest views of the performers. For many concerts, floor sections are added or removed. These performer-specific adjustments may alter the floor layout and the views from each floor section.

To the Side of the Stage: For close views of the stage with a little bit of elevation, consider seats to the side of the stage in Section 102, Section 103 and Section 116. The view is not head-on like on the floor, but many of the seats are closer to the stage, provide better elevation and are actual stadium seats.

Chase Center Seating - RateYourSeats.com (3)

Head-on to the Stage: Seats directly across from the stage, like those in Section 9, Section 10, Section 109 and Section 110 provide the most comfortable looks of the performance.

Even upper level sections offer unobstructed sitelines. Just keep in mind that you won't be able to see as much detail from these seats as you would if you sat closer to the stage.

Consider the Following When Buying Concert Tickets

Seats behind the stage are occassionally sold: Unless your main objective is to just get in the building, you'll want to completely avoid anything behind the stage - like those in/near or above sections Section 119, Section 124, Section 201 and Section 202. It's unlikely the performer will turn around to salute you - and you're more likely to be completely blocked out from seeing the show.

If you're on the shorter side (or bringing kids), consider floor seats only in the first few rows: The most common complaint amongst floor ticketholders is that they can't see the stage because of taller people in front of them. As an alternative, consider side sections near the stage that will still have you close and high enough to see.

Lower level side sections are not created equal: While the side sections closest to the stage are top-notch, side sections farther from the stage may leave you with a cramp in your neck. Sections 105 and 114 are not well-angled towards the stage - leaving you to turn your head for an ideal view. Instead, consider head-on sections in the lower level or even close side seats in the upper level like 205 and 221.

Other Popular Seating Areas

  • Lower Level Corner (Basketball) Seating

Among the most affordable seats on the lower level of the Chase Center are corner sections. Tickets in these sections aren't as expensive as the club sideline seats, and views are much better than sections behind the basket.

Among these sections, 108 and 123 extend down towards the floor and row 1 in these sections is about 10 rows from the court. In all other sections, the first row is above one of the stadium tunnels and is typically labeled row 7.

Sections 107, 112, 119 and 124 border the Sideline Club seats. As such, these sections are only about half the size of adjacent sections. This means fewer seats and an easier time getting in and out. Do keep in mind; however, that there is only one aisle in these small sections due to the railing between club and non-club seats.

  • Lower Level End (Basketball) Seating

Some of the cheapest Warriors tickets on the lower level are located in sections 109-110 and 121-122. These sections are located behind the basket and extend from the floor to the top of the main seating bowl.

Each of these sections contain 27 rows of seats with row 1 closest to the court. With courtside seating taking up the first seven rows, the first row is exactly eight rows from the court.

The basket prevents these seats from having outstanding views - you'll have to sit on the sideline to get those. But fans are generally more excited to be relatively close to the court without paying for the expensive club seats that dominate the rest of the lower level.

  • Upper End (Basketball) Seating

The cheapest tickets for a Warriors game are typically found in sections 211-215 of the upper level. Each of these sections has 21 rows of seats with row 1 located at the front of all sections.

Rows in these sections can be categorized as follows:

    • 1-6: Best views from the lowest vantage point
    • 7-11: Close to the section entrance; views are just OK
    • 12 : Very high up views and steep walks up and down stairs
  • Upper Level Corner (Basketball) Seating

Looking for the best value at a Warriors game? We think you'll find it in the corner sections of the 200 level - especially if you sit in a low row.

The first row in each of the corner sections is labeled row 1. This is an important difference versus sideline seating on this level where row 6 is the first row due to the Theater Boxes.

We recommended sitting in rows 1-8 where you'll have a seat just down the stairs from the entrance tunnel. This helps mitigate the steepness issues that a lot of the upper deck suffers from. Sitting in one of these low rows will leave you with a comfortable view of the court from a decent height.

  • Upper Level Side (Basketball) Seating

At the Chase Center, all sideline seating on the lower level is club seating. Therefore, the cheapest tickets along the side are found in the 200 level. Each of these sections offers unobstructed views of the court from the top of the arena.

Each side section in the 200s has 16 rows of seats with row 6 at the front of each section. Fans are strongly encouraged to purchase tickets in the lowest row possible for the best views of the court.

In addition to providing desirable views along the sideline, these sections have a head-on look at the arena's giant videoboard. This makes it easy to catch replays and to keep track of stats.

The upper level at the Chase Center is fairly steep. As such, walking up the stairs to to the highest rows can be a challenge for some. And the views from the top will have you looking almost straight down towards the court.

  • Lower End (Concert) Seating

For comfortable head-on views of the stage, consider seating in sections 107-112. These sections extend from the back or the floor to the top of the seating bowl, so pay close attention to which row you will be sitting in.

Rows closer to the floor are generally more expensive, but they do come with some drawbacks. First, the lower you sit, the less rise you will have over the row in front of you. Second, the lower you sit, the farther your walk will be from the concourse.

Upper rows have more pitch over lows and better access to concourse amenities, but there are some drawbacks. The upper rows are obviously farther away, and there is a greater chance of someone standing up in front of you during the show (some people don't mind this).

  • Lower Side (Concert) Seating

Each of these sections offers a side view to the stage at varying angles. Here's a quick summary of each section:

    • Sections 102 and 117: Extreme side view, close to the stage
    • 103 and 116: Best combination of being close with a good view
    • 104 and 115: Decent view pretty close to the stage
    • 105, 106, 113 and 114: Opt for an end section instead where the view is more comfortable
  • Upper Corner (Concert) Seating

Typically among the cheapest tickets for a Chase Center concert, corner seating in the 200 level offers an inexpensive way to attend a show.

The best seats in this seating zone are in rows 1-5 of sections 209-210 and 216-217. These rows hang over the lower seating area, which makes them lower to the floor and closer to the stage than other upper level seats.

Meanwhile, seats in rows 10 and higher can easily be labeled nosebleeds. These rows are incredibly high up from the floor and far away from the stage.

Overall, this is an ideal place to sit if you are on a tight budget, but you can find some better-than-expected experiences in the lower rows.

  • Upper End (Concert) Seating

The most comfortable views in the 200 level come from the sections that are head-on to the stage. You won't have a side view where you have to turn your head and the stage equipment rarely blocks your view. Instead, you'll have a centered view of the performance and clear views of the videoscreens.

As with all seating on the 200 level, the best seats are in the rows below the entrance tunnel (below row 8). The overhang of the section gets you closer to the floor and you don't have to deal with the steepness of the stairs.

  • Upper Side (Concert) Seating

If ticket prices in the lower level are out of reach, the next best place to sit for a concert at the Chase Center is along the side of the Balcony.

When deciding among tickets in this seating zone, we strongly encourage fans to purchase tickets in the lowest row possible. The Chase Center has a very steep upper deck which causes three main issues:

    • Walking up and down the stairs can be difficult
    • The higher you are, the more you look straight down at the stage
    • Lighting and sound equipment obstructs sitelines

Sitting in a low row doesn't completely eliminate these issues, but it does minimize them. Our favorites include the first six rows of sections 205 and 221.
