I have something of an incurable sweet tooth. I go through phases, but more often than not I'd choose sweet over salty/savory snacks. My husband is the opposite. Although he enjoys occasional sweet treats, he doesn't have them often.

As a result a rarely make entirecakes anymore. There is just too muchof a risk that I would eat most of it myself. After years of hesitation, I finally made my first mug cake earlier this year. Single servings of desserts that are ready in minutes! I don't know what took me so long to jump on board.

If you are still hesitant about desserts in a mug or are already all on board, I put together a list of delicious mug desserts that you just HAVE to give a try! Because all of them are actuallyhealthy!

All of these mug recipes are either gluten free, grain free, low carb and/or refined sugar free. I made a note which of those applies for each recipe. There are 3 categories - cakes, brownies and cookies.

Do you have any mug cake recipes that can be made without sugar or a sugar substitute?

No I don't. Maybe you could make my pumpkin mug cake (https://leelalicious.com/coconut-flour-pumpkin-spice-mug-cake) with mashed ripe banana or sweet potato puree. I feel like that would be the only way to have a somewhat sweet tasting mug cake without adding sweetener.
